Sloppy Joe’s Bar, a legendary bar in Havana
Sloppy Joe’s Bar has been part of Havana’s history since the 1930s. Although this legendary bar is no longer in service since the 1959 revolution, it remains in people’s memories. Sloppy Joe’s was notorious for always being a mess, but that didn’t stop customers from coming back. The decor was amazing, at the time it had the longest mahogany drink cabinet of Cuba. Back then going to Havana without making a stop at Sloppy Joe’s was simply unconceivable !

El Monseignor, an elegant restaurant
This elegant restaurant has been one of the best since 1953. Some of their regular customers include the great cuban musicians Bola de Nieve and Rita Montaner. At night, the decor creates a very romantic atmosphere- dark curtains cover the windows and reddish tones surround the place. Their variety of cocktails only add to the experience. If you want to spend a night out with your loved one this is the place to go!

Museo del Ron Havana Club, the history of Havana Club rum making process
This rum museum is one of the most entertaining; the visit starts with a cocktail (virgin ones for the children), then once the bell has been rung tour begins. The tour explains the entire process of rum making, and if by the end it isn’t clear, there is a miniature model of the rum factory to illustrate it. The Havana Club Bar offers live music in a traditional Cuban setting and is a popular spot to enjoy authentic drinks. Where better to have a cocktail than at the Havana Club Bar ?
